POWERFUL PROPANE CUTTING TORCHES, OPERATING WITH CYLINDERS
Powerful cutting torches and burners working on propane, for example RPM “DONMET” 502P), is designed to work on the gas pipe line or gas manifold with the number of cylinders no less than 3 pcs.
Work from one propane cylinder is not permissible!
Gas intake from the cylinder V=50 litres should not exceed 1,5 m3/h (at room temperature +25 оС). Otherwise the liquid fraction of gas in the cylinder boils and thrown into the pressure regulator, into the hoses and cutting torch. This leads to the burnout of mixer tube of the cutting torch. During liquid fraction boiling its temperature decreases sharply and it freezes. Gas vapor pressure falls almost to “0” in the cylinder and operating of the cutting torch becomes impossible.
