The control unit is a component of the liquid fuel tank, intended for selection and supply kerosene according to GSTU 320.00149943.011-99 to cutting torches and heating torches.
The control unit consists of a body 1, a valve 2, a pressure indicator 3, an intake 4 and a nipple 5 for connecting a rubber fabric hose.
When the pressure in the tank is more than 1.5 bar, the red mark of the indicator protrudes beyond the edge of the cap. With a further increase of pressure within the range of 3.0-4.0 bar in the tank, the safety valve is activated and the pressure in the tank decreases. At the same time, the red mark of the indicator moves to its original position at the level of the edge of the cap.

To increase safety, the tanks are equipped with a kerosene shut-off valve, which shuts off the flow of kerosene from the tank when the fuel hose breaks.
WARNING! To ensure the normal operation of the shut-off valve, it is necessary:
1) turn the fuel valve unit 1/4 turn and hold the pause for 15-30 seconds to fill the hose with fuel;
2) open the valve on the cutting torch and make sure that the fuel reaches the nozzle;
3) close the valve on the cutting torch;
4) after that, open the fuel valve on the unit fully!
5) Then start working.
